Rachel Heinold was born in Rochester, New York and is a contemporary artist and educator whose work focuses on poetic mythologies and allegorical narrative. She received a MFA in painting from the The State University of New York at New Paltz and a BFA in painting from Rochester Institute of Technology, where she also studied Fine Art Photography and Contemporary American Art History. Her work is exhibited nationally and internationally. She currently lives and works in New York City.
